Cybersecurity Governance Analyst

Cybersecurity governance specialist supporting institutional clients on cybersecurity programme architecture, control implementation, supervisory engagement, and incident-response governance — across U.S. federal, EU, UK, Canadian, and African regulatory frameworks.

Responsibilities

What you'll do.

  • Design cybersecurity governance programmes aligned with applicable regulatory frameworks.
  • Develop and maintain control libraries, policy frameworks, and incident-response procedures.
  • Support clients through cybersecurity supervisory engagements, regulatory examinations, and incident-disclosure obligations.
  • Calibrate cybersecurity governance to client industry, jurisdiction, and risk-profile.
  • Contribute to ELDR's published cybersecurity governance research.
Requirements

What we look for.

  • 4–7 years of cybersecurity, information security, or cyber-governance experience.
  • Working familiarity with NIST CSF/800-53, ISO 27001, and at least one sectoral framework (PCI-DSS, HIPAA Security, FedRAMP, sectoral financial-services frameworks).
  • Experience translating technical security capability into governance documentation suitable for regulator engagement.
Qualifications

Educational & professional credentials.

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or related field.
  • Relevant certifications: CISSP, CISM, CCSP, GIAC family, or equivalent.
